Massive Blaze Tears Through Erith Industrial Estate

Firefighters Deploy 25 Engines and 150 Crew
Emergency teams from 123 Sidcup and neighbouring stations scrambled to the scene with 25 fire engines and roughly 150 firefighters. The warehouse was completely engulfed, destroying three diggers, four heavy goods vehicles, and 55 cars parked nearby.
- Three 32-metre turntable ladders were used for overhead water delivery and aerial surveillance.

The blaze was brought under control by 6:52am Saturday, but crews stayed on hand all day to douse stubborn smouldering waste.
