Woman Seriously Injured After Car Overturns in Wadhurst Crash
SUSSEX POLICE are hunting witnesses after a dramatic early-morning crash in Wadhurst left a woman with potentially life-changing injuries.
Car Overturns Down Embankment
Emergency crews rushed to Furnace Lane just after 1am on Monday, 21 July. A grey Mitsubishi, heading east on the B2169, veered off the nearside carriageway and flipped down an embankment. Two people were in the vehicle at the time.
Operation Real Launched to Crack Case
Sussex Police have launched Operation Real to get to the bottom of what caused the terrifying crash. They urgently want to speak to anyone who saw the car before or during the incident.
Dash Cam and CCTV Footage Needed
Officers are also asking the public for any dash cam, mobile phone, or CCTV footage that could shed light on the crash.
We need anyone with information to come forward to help us understand exactly what happened,” said a Sussex Police spokesperson.
