Emergency services are responding to a serious incident at Charing Cross Underground Station after a person was reported to be under a southbound Northern line train.

The incident was reported to emergency services at 08:35am today. Transport for London (TfL) and London Underground have since suspended southbound Northern line services through the station.

The exact condition of the individual involved is currently unknown, and British Transport Police (BTP), London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service are on scene coordinating the response.

Travel Disruption Expected

TfL has warned commuters to expect delays and seek alternative routes. Charing Cross Station remains open for mainline services, but parts of the Northern line are suspended or severely delayed as incident response continues.
