Man in His 50s Dies After Falling from Medway Viaduct on M2

A man in his 50s has tragically died following an incident on the M2 motorway early Wednesday morning. The coastbound carriageway was shut between Junction 1 (Strood) and Junction 3 (Chatham and Rochester) for over three hours.

Emergency services rushed to the scene just before 5am after reports raised concerns for a man’s welfare near the Medway Viaduct. It is believed the man fell from the bridge spanning the motorway. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
