Woman Charged Following Fatal Shooting of Teen in Enfield

Overview

An 18-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of Keanu Harker, 18, who was gunned down in Enfield in June.

Police were called at 8:45pm on Thursday, 26 June, to reports of gunshots on Great Cambridge Road, Enfield. Emergency services attended and found Keanu suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital but tragically died later that evening.

Keanu’s family continues to receive support from specialist officers as detectives pursue a complex investigation into his murder.

Third Person Charged

On Sunday, 3 August, officers arrested Anais King, 18, of no fixed address. She has since been charged with perverting the course of justice and will appear before Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 5 August.

International Arrest in Paris

A 17-year-old boy was arrested in Paris on Sunday, 3 August, on suspicion of murder. The arrest was made under an international arrest warrant, and extradition proceedings to bring him back to the UK will begin shortly.

Previous Charges

Two individuals have already been charged in connection with Keanu’s murder:

  • A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested on Sunday, 29 June and charged with murder the following day.
  • Eliezer Mbike, 25, of Oulton Road, Tottenham, was arrested and charged with perverting the course of justice on Monday, 30 June.

Both are due to stand trial at the Old Bailey on 18 May 2026.

Ongoing Investigations

In addition, a 39-year-old man was arrested on Thursday, 24 July on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. He has been bailed and is required to return to a police station in September, pending further inquiries.

Police Appeal

Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information that could assist their investigation.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:

This remains an active and fast-moving investigation. We are urging anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or who has relevant information to contact police immediately.
