Man in His 70s Fatally Hit by Car in Sevenoaks
A pensioner in his 70s has died after being struck by a car while crossing a road in Sevenoaks. The tragic crash happened at 1.24pm on Tuesday, 12 August.
Crash Details: Red Mazda Hits Pedestrian
The collision took place on Mount Harry Road at the junction with the A225. Police confirmed the man was on foot when he was hit by a red Mazda 2. The driver stopped at the scene, and the injured man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Sadly, he passed away a week later on Wednesday, 20 August.
Police Launch Full Investigation
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is now probing the incident. Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or captured dashcam footage to come forward.
Motorists in the area at the time are asked to check their in-car cameras for any footage that could aid the investigation.
