Couple Threaten Legal Action After Power Cut Makes Them Miss EastEnders
A frustrated couple are gearing up for legal battle after a power cut wiped out their chance to watch an episode of EastEnders. Struggling financially, they’ve launched a GoFundMe to raise £5,000 to cover legal fees.
Husband Injured After Gaming Rage
Dean Wills, 34, admitted he hurt his hand playing Fortnite. “I lost a game, got mad and punched the wall. Now I’ve got a poorly right hand,” he confessed.
His wife, Crystal, 32, has become his full-time carer. She revealed, “I have to butter his toast, scroll through his phone and even change the channel for him.”
Missed Soap Is The Last Straw
The couple say missing EastEnders was “the final straw” amid their frustrations. They’re demanding justice and asking the public for help to fund their legal fight.
If successful, they plan to buy a Sky+ box to avoid missing any more episodes.
Electric Company Hits Back
An electricity provider spokesperson said, “We apologise for any inconvenience, but we can’t legally be held responsible for EastEnders plot twists or injuries from Fortnite.”
Despite this, the couple remains determined to take their case to court.
