Family Mourns ‘One in a Million’ Natasha
The family of Natasha Thorp, 21, have paid heartfelt tributes after the young woman was fatally hit by a car in Sutton Coldfield shortly before midnight on 22 August. Despite desperate efforts from emergency services, Natasha was pronounced dead at the scene on Brassington Avenue.
“Going forward without her is so hard to imagine. To know Natasha was to know a life filled with love, laughter, and joy. It was a privilege to know her as a part of our family or as a friend. You were one in a million, Tasha, and you will never be forgotten. Night Tash, love you.”
They also thanked the emergency crews and members of the public who stayed with Natasha in her final moments. “It’s very important to our family to know that she wasn’t alone at the end,” the family said.
Two Men Arrested Over Deadly Crash
Another woman suffered a leg injury in the collision. Police arrested two men on suspicion of causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving. One man remains on bail with strict conditions, while the other has been released without further action.
Police Hunt Silver Toyota Corolla
West Midlands Police continue to investigate and are appealing for anyone who saw the incident or has CCTV and dashcam footage, particularly involving a silver Toyota Corolla, to come forward. Detectives are keen to gather more information to piece together the events leading to Natasha’s death.

Social media has been flooded with messages mourning Natasha’s loss, remembering her as a “beautiful young lady” and “the most amazing person.” Specially trained officers remain supporting her family through this heartbreaking time.
