Three Teens Arrested After High-Speed Chase in Birmingham
Three teenagers have been arrested following a dramatic high-speed police chase involving a stolen car in Birmingham, West Midlands Police have confirmed.
Stolen Car Spotted Near Perry Barr
Just before 9pm on Saturday, officers were alerted to a stolen vehicle spotted near Perry Barr. The chase ended on Thornbury Road when the stolen car came to a stop and the suspects fled on foot.
Imitation Gun Seized as Suspects Caught
Police swiftly caught three suspects nearby. During the arrest, officers recovered an imitation firearm, escalating the charges against them.
Four Charges Laid – All in Custody
- A 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man face charges of motor vehicle theft.
- Another 18-year-old man is charged with motor vehicle theft and possession of an imitation firearm.
All three remain in custody as investigations continue.
