First Picture Of Flybe Aircraft that carried out Emergency Landing at Belfast Airport

A Flybe aircraft has carried out an emergency landing at Belfast Airport with the front nose gear up. The aircraft spent the past two hours in the air burning fuel to reduce weight before carrying out the emergency landing, the aircraft declared an emergency. just after 12.30 on Friday morning. It is understood that the plane has landed on the runway with no front wheel and the runway at Belfast is now closed whilst emergency services attended to the plane. The aircraft landed with the nose gear up on the main runway at 1.43pm. We understand from Airport sources that Runway 25 closed, fire services on scene. A statement from Flybe said: ‘We are aware of an incident involving one of our aircraft. We are getting more information and we will provide further updates as soon as we can.’
