Fairlee Road blocked following two vehicle collision
A major road linking Newport and Ryde has been blocked following a two vehicle collision this lunchtime (Tuesday 3rd July 2018) All emergency services are at the scene of the collision involving a Yaris and a Ford Fiesta on Fairlee Road. Paramedics from Isle of Wight ambulance service are treating two people for minor injuries who have been involved in the side swipe collision. A third person has been taken to hospital following treatment at the scene. Two Fire crews from Newport were called as it was thought person may have been trapped as a result of the collision. Officers from the Armed Islands roads policing are also at the scene near to the junction of Mill Lane Newport. More to follow
