Twelve-Year-Old Girl Seriously Injured in Motorbike Crash in Sunbury

A 12-year-old girl was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a motorbike in Sunbury-on-Thames last night.

Collision Caught Emergency Services Rushing to Scene

The crash happened just after 6.20pm on 16 July on Grovely Road, near Oak Hall Drive. The girl was crossing the road when a Yamaha motorcycle struck her.

She was quickly rushed to St George’s Hospital for urgent treatment. The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Road Closed as Air Ambulance Responded

Police shut both directions of Grovely Road while emergency crews, including the air ambulance, worked to save the girl.

The road is expected to reopen soon once the incident is cleared.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
