Car ploughs down embankment on St Mary’s Roundabout

Emergency services have been called to a second rush hour collision in Newport this evening. Police have been called to St Mary’s roundabout in Newport after the single vehicle collision that has left the road. The driver of the blue Suzuki is understood to have escaped serious injury following the collision. Officers from Hampshire Constablary are in attendance and the road remains open. More to follow
