Emergency services called to Enfield after reports of an Explosion
Police and Fire crews have been called to investigate after a number of resident have reported hearing an explosion in Enfield this evening. Emergency services have been scrambled to Lawson Road in the town just before 6pm on Sunday. An investigation and search has been launched into the cause of the explosion. The fire service and Police both remain in attendance. A spokesman for the Met Police said: A man reported seeing a flash and hearing an explosion, police/ LFB attend and nothing has happened.
