Violent Assault Rocks Seafront High Street
Chaos erupted at 5:07pm on Friday, June 10, 2022, near the bustling seafront High Street. Reports say four to five attackers assaulted another group before vanishing into the crowd.
Armed Officers Seize Blade, No Arrests Yet
Armed police quickly swooped on the scene, confiscating a bladed weapon. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported so far. But despite the swift response, nobody has been arrested.
Police Hunt for Witnesses and Footage
“We are appealing for any witnesses to call the appeal line,” said Detective Inspector Vanessa Law of Margate CID.
She added, “If anyone nearby has video of the incident on their phones, we urge them to come forward.”
Police also want motorists with dashcams and locals with CCTV to check their footage for clues.
