Man Found Unresponsive on Towan Avenue

Just before 1am on Monday, police were alerted to a man lying unresponsive on the pavement near the roundabout at Towan Avenue, Fishermead. Passersby rushed to help and drove him to hospital, but tragically, he was later pronounced dead.

Death Now Treated as Suspicious

Detective Inspector Nicola Douglas confirmed Thames Valley Police have launched a murder investigation. “Due to detective inquiries, this unexplained death is now being treated as suspicious,” she said. The victim, a 35-year-old Milton Keynes man, has not yet been formally identified. Specially trained officers are supporting his family.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage

If you were in the area between 12:45am and 1:15am on Monday, Thames Valley Police want to hear from you. “If you saw anything or have any video footage from Towan Avenue, please contact us online or call 101 quoting ref 43220304480,” DI Douglas urged.

Arrest Made as Investigation Continues

A 34-year-old Milton Keynes man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. “We believe the victim and suspect knew each other and there is no risk to the wider community,” DI Douglas reassured. The scene on Towan Avenue has now been cleared.
