Witnesses are being urged to come forward after a daring robbery in Gravesend’s New Road area on Sunday afternoon, 3 February 2019.
15-Year-Old Targeted in Broad Daylight
A 15-year-old boy was reportedly robbed of his bag by another teenage suspect at around 2:10pm. The suspect then made a quick getaway.
Friends’ Brave Pursuit Ends in Assault
The victim’s two friends chased after the suspect shortly after. But things turned ugly when the suspect allegedly assaulted them, causing minor injuries.
Witnesses say the attacker threatened the trio with a broken bottle before fleeing with a group of youths, forcing the friends to run for safety.
Police Make Arrest but Case Isn’t Closed
Kent Police swiftly arrested a 16-year-old boy linked to the incident. He has since been released on bail pending further investigations.
