Burnt smell sparks emergency at Brighton flats

Fire crews rushed to Donald Hall Road on the Bristol estate in Brighton this evening after reports of a burning smell in a block of flats.

Massive Fire Response

Six fire engines from Brighton, Lewes, and Newhaven raced to the scene. The East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) swung into action swiftly.

Residents Evacuated

Residents were temporarily evacuated as a safety precaution. Thankfully, no major injuries have been reported so far.
