Hit-and-Run Shocker on Stirling’s King Street

Police are hunting for witnesses after a hit-and-run left a woman with serious leg injuries on King Street, Stirling. The drama unfolded around 2.20pm on Saturday, January 14.

Woman Struck by Grey VW Golf

The 63-year-old was crossing the road when she was hit by a grey VW Golf that had been parked nearby. The car sped off towards Corn Exchange Road without stopping, leaving the victim injured and struggling.

“The woman was rushed to Forth Valley Hospital with a serious leg injury,” said Sergeant Lee Walkingshaw. “We’re determined to find the driver responsible for this callous hit-and-run.”

Police Plead for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Sergeant Walkingshaw urged anyone in the area at the time to check dashcam footage. “If you saw what happened or noticed the vehicle’s direction after the crash, please come forward,” he said.

Officers are urging witnesses who haven’t spoken to police yet to get in touch urgently.
