Early morning stabbing sparks hunt for witnesses in East London.
Man Stabbed in Chest on Green Street
Police were called at 5.13am on Tuesday, 14 February, after a 36-year-old man was found with a stab wound in Green Street, E13. Officers and London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene and discovered the victim suffering a chest injury.
He was taken to hospital where doctors confirmed his injuries are not life-threatening.
No Arrests Yet as Investigation Continues
Detectives believe the stabbing took place at Queens Market, E13, around 5.10am, just minutes before police arrived. So far, no arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing.
Detective Issues Urgent Appeal
DC Jamie Thorn, lead investigator, said: “If anyone recognises the man in this image, please contact us immediately. We know there were other people near Queens Market at the time, but none were there when police arrived or have come forward since. I urge anyone with information to get in touch.”
