Kent Fire and Rescue Service scrambled three fire engines after reports of a fire in a Maidstone pub basement on Middle Row. Firefighters donned breathing apparatus to investigate, but thankfully, the blaze was already out on arrival.

High-Pressure Fans Clear Smoke

The crews swiftly used a high-pressure fan to clear the smoke-clogged pub, making the premises safe. Kent Police were also on the scene as a precaution.

No Injuries, Electrical Fault Suspected

There were no reported injuries. The fire is believed to have started accidentally due to an electrical fault.
