In an unfortunate incident that took place on the evening of October 29, 2023, the defibrillator box located in the Matchborough Centre in Redditch suffered significant damage. The local community, who greatly relies on this life-saving equipment, expressed their concern over the mindless act of vandalism.
PC Clarke, from West Mercia Police who has taken charge of the investigation, is urging the public to come forward with any information that may assist in identifying those responsible. Despite the limited visibility captured by the CCTV footage, PC Clarke hopes that someone may recognise the clothing or mannerisms of the individuals involved.
