More than 4,000 Ring users have been hit by major issues, says DownDetector.
Ring App Crash Sparks Fury: Server Failures & Login Headaches
- 51% of reports cite server connection failures
- 38% say the app itself is buggy
- 11% can’t even log in
The disaster has left thousands locked out of their home security cams. One X (formerly Twitter) user asked, “Is anybody else’s Ring camera account down right now?” Another complained, “Ring doorbell/cameras not working for 13hrs, I can’t view history on the app & can’t sign in on the website.”
A third said, “Seems to be an issue with Ring being down as several people are reporting the same issue. Hope they fix or provide an update soon.”
Ring has been contacted for comment but remains silent.
Not Just Ring: Snapchat and Roblox Also Down
Ring isn’t flying solo in the glitch crisis. Popular apps Snapchat and Roblox are also struggling with outages this morning, flooding social media with complaints.

It spots trouble by tracking sudden spikes in user reports and online buzz. Users can report issues and see if their area is affected, too.
