Police are hunting Michael Kavanagh, 38, from Eastbourne, who skipped a crucial court hearing and vanished. The man was due for sentencing at Lewes Crown Court earlier this year but failed to show up. Now, a warrant is out for his arrest.
Fraudster’s No-Show Sparks Manhunt
Kavanagh had already pleaded guilty to fraud-related charges before blowing off his court date. Since then, he has disappeared without a trace.

Police believe he’s likely still in the local area and warn the public not to approach him.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “We are keen to locate Michael Kavanagh and would urge anyone who knows where he is or has seen him to get in touch. Please do not approach him.”
