A busy Home Bargains store in Amesbury was plunged into chaos this afternoon after a man suddenly collapsed, suspected of suffering a cardiac arrest.

The alarm was raised just before 4pm at the Solstice Park outlet. Staff acted fast, evacuating shoppers in a swift, orderly fashion. Witnesses say CPR was immediately started on the man as panic spread through the store.
