The National Crime Agency (NCA) is on the hunt for Britain’s most dangerous criminals. From ruthless drug barons to slick fraudsters, the agency targets organised crime with international links. As of December 2025, 19 men top the NCA’s most wanted list. Their crimes include drug trafficking, rape, and murder. Seven suspects are linked to London’s dark underworld.
Here’s the lowdown on the UK’s most notorious fugitives – names, faces, and what you need to know to spot them.
John Barton – Heroin Kingpin Still At Large
John Barton was sentenced to 20 years in 2003 for conspiring to import huge amounts of heroin. But he dodged jail, having been sentenced in absentia. The drug smuggling ring operated between 1999 and 2000. Police believe Barton hides between Fuengirola, Spain, and London.

Daniel Dugic – Cocaine Smuggling Mastermind
Daniel Dugic allegedly masterminded a covert transfer of 255kg of cocaine in the English Channel in 2011. While others were locked up, Dugic remains free and on the run. Originally from Serbia, he’s thought to be lurking in London.
Jack Mayle – Dark Web Drug Dealer With Tattoos You Can’t Miss
Jack Mayle ran a South London and Surrey drug ring called Flavour Quest, working with dark web traffickers. After being charged, he vanished. Born in croydon/" title="Croydon" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Croydon, his tattoos are distinctive: ‘Croydon’ on his left forearm, a diamond under his left eye, and ‘money never sleeps’ tattooed on his left hand.
- Details: Around 30 years old, 5ft 11in, muscular build, vegan, gym-goer, known to carry weapons.
Ersin Mustafa – Insider Trader Who Walked Free
Former JP Morgan Cazenove employee Ersin Mustafa is wanted for insider trading. Alongside seven others, he extracted £2.5m using confidential merger info. Arrested in 2008, he skipped bail and vanished around December 2009. Police suspect he’s still hiding in London.

Ozgur Demir & Osman Aydeniz – Diamorphine Dealers on the Run
The duo faces charges over a conspiracy to supply nearly 18kg of diamorphine. While three others linked to the crime are behind bars, Demir and Aydeniz remain fugitives. Both men hold Turkish nationality. The NCA urges anyone with info to come forward immediately.
Christakis Philippou – The Travel Scam Kingpin
Christakis Philippou, aka Christakis Chrysostomou, ran a fake travel agency scam from 2004 to 2006. His bogus agencies promised dirt-cheap holidays before folding, leaving 20,000 victims stranded and out of pocket. Philippou is thought to be in London.
