“Horror House” Fiend Bagged Again After New Victims Speak Out
Carson Grimes, the vile sex offender already locked up for life for abusing nine children at his nightmarish “horror house” in Luton, has been slammed with another life sentence. The shocking fresh charges emerged after a grit-filled episode of 24 Hours in Police Custody aired, prompting Bedfordshire Police’s RASSO team to launch a new investigation.
Decades of Sick Abuse Exposed
Grimes pleaded guilty to 24 fresh charges involving 13 victims, with abuse dating all the way back to 1987. He now faces at least 22 years and nine months behind bars before he’s even considered for parole. This harrowing case stands as one of the largest child sexual abuse probes ever tackled by Bedfordshire Police.
Groomed, Drugged and Devastated: Victims Finally Speak Out
The predator lured in vulnerable kids by posing as a mate, inviting them to his Luton lair and flooding them with drink and drugs. He then subjected them to sickening sexual abuse. Many victims didn’t realise they were being groomed and often blamed themselves.
“Victims often don’t realise they are being groomed and may feel responsible or think they agreed to what happened. But that is never true,” said a Bedfordshire Police spokesperson.
Years of trauma kept many victims silent until now. Bedfordshire Police urge survivors: it’s never too late to come forward and seek justice.
