Knife Thug Joshua Walder Gets 3½ Years for Brutal Attack
Joshua Leigh Walder, 35, has been locked up for three-and-a-half years after plunging a knife into a man in Gosport. The violent attack took place on a quiet Saturday morning, leaving the victim seriously injured.

The horror unfolded at 8:05am on Saturday, 6 December 2025, in Magennis Close, Gosport. Walder, from Cooperage Green, pleaded guilty at Portsmouth Crown Court on 12 January to wounding with intent and carrying a bladed article in public.
Police Warn: Carrying Knives Comes With Deadly Risks
“Anyone who picks up a knife is making a decision which creates the very real risk that you could kill or seriously injure someone,” police said.
“We hope that anyone thinking of carrying a knife recognises the serious consequences both for themselves and others.
“We regularly target knife carriers and remove weapons from the streets. Our officers will do everything possible to arrest, charge and prosecute those who carry knives.”
