CENTCOM has confirmed a deadly blow to US forces in Tampa, Florida. As of 9:30am Eastern Time on March 1, three American service members have died in combat. Additionally, five are seriously wounded, with several others suffering minor shrapnel injuries and concussions.

In a statement, CENTCOM stressed the situation is “fluid.” To honour the fallen soldiers, no further details or identities will be released until 24 hours after the next of kin have been formally informed.
