A 25-year-old man from London has been locked up for 66 months after forcing teenagers to sell class A drugs in Leicestershire. Donnell Magezi threatened his young victims into modern slavery, police revealed.

Threats and Forced Drug Sales in Leicestershire

Magezi set up a drug operation, known as the ‘Adam Line’, targeting local children. The victims, now adults, were first drawn into selling cannabis before falling into debt bondage. They were then pressured to push class A drugs for the gang.

On the evening of 8 January 2022, Magezi and his gang coerced the teens at their homes in Charnwood, forcing them into a car and threatening them until they agreed to deal cocaine. At a remote spot near Loughborough, the victims were made to kneel and warned their families would be harmed if they didn’t comply.

Police Crack Down After Victims Speak Out

Persistent threats continued via phone calls, with Magezi warning gang members from London would come to Leicestershire to terrorise the victims and their families. One victim eventually confided in his parents, who alerted police.
