£10,000 Rolex Thief Busted and Banged Up for Seven Years
A brazen thug who used an online ad to lure a victim and then robbed him at knifepoint has landed himself behind bars for seven years and six months.
Jason Wokeh’s Knife-Sharp Crime
Jason Wokeh, 20, from Woolwich, South London, targeted a rare Rolex worth over £10,000 after pretending to be a genuine buyer. He drove all the way to Maidstone, Kent, to meet the seller in person.
After inspecting the watch and paperwork, Wokeh whipped out a 10-inch knife from his waistband and threatened the seller before fleeing with the pricey timepiece.
Armed Police Catch Him Red-Handed
It didn’t take long for cops to track Wokeh down. Using CCTV and doorbell footage, officers found him at his home in Woolwich. When armed police smashed in early one morning, Wokeh was caught fast asleep in bed.
He screamed so loud the police feared for him. One officer calmly reassured: “It’s alright mate, it’s the police.”
Looks like the big bad thief sh@t his pants after all.
Crime Doesn’t Pay
Wokeh’s high-stakes robbery ended with an easy police catch and a lengthy jail sentence. Enjoy the next seven and a half years inside, mate.
