Police are hunting for answers after a 15-year-old boy was shot in Ward End Park, Birmingham, late Friday night.

Late Night Shooting Sparks Alarm

Paramedics called officers to the park near the Foxton Road entrance just before 10pm. The injured teen was rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds but is now in a stable condition. Thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Detectives Scramble to Track Down Shooter

The Major Crime Unit is combing through CCTV footage from the park and nearby areas. Detective Superintendent Ryan Chambers said, “This appears to be an isolated incident. We will increase police presence to support the investigation and reassure the community.”
