Met Police Nabs Suspect in Pre-Planned Terror Sting

A 20-year-old man from north west London was arrested tonight on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts. The Met Police Counter Terrorism Command, backed by the Firearms Command, carried out the carefully planned operation.

Gun Officers Detain Without Incident

The suspect was detained by armed officers at around 6.30pm. Thankfully, no one was hurt during the arrest.

Held Under Terrorism Act

He’s now in custody at a south London police station, held under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act, as investigations continue.
