A man has been locked up for life after fatally stabbing a woman in her own home. Simon Ghebremedhin, 34, was found guilty of murdering 26-year-old Marjama Osman in Croydon following a thorough investigation by Met Police detectives.
Guilty Verdict at Inner London Crown Court
On Wednesday, 1 April, a jury at Inner London Crown Court convicted Ghebremedhin of the chilling murder. He lived on Streatham High Road, SW16. The fatal attack happened on Saturday, 31 May 2025, when Ghebremedhin stabbed Marjama inside her home.
Life Behind Bars with a Minimum of 19 Years
On Tuesday, 14 April, the judge handed Ghebremedhin a life sentence with a minimum term of 19 years before he can even think about parole. Justice has been served for Marjama and her loved ones after this fatal and senseless crime.
