Tributes have poured in for Summer, a 17-year-old girl tragically killed in a fatal collision on Sutton Lane, Sutton Scarsdale, last Sunday at around 11pm. Derbyshire Police confirmed Summer died at the scene after the Vauxhall Corsa she was a passenger in crashed into a tree. Four people were injured, including two with serious injuries. The 19-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in police custody.

Summer’s family have paid heartfelt tributes, remembering her as a full-of-life, outgoing young woman who was “bubbly, very chatty and loved being the centre of attention.” She had recently started a job at McDonald’s and was studying construction at college, with a passion for carpentry.
