West Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on Chevet Lane in Notton, Wakefield. The incident happened at 2.45pm on Monday 11 May 2026 when a Ford Focus crashed into a tree. The 23-year-old male driver was seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment. The Roads Policing Unit is urging anyone who saw the collision or spotted the vehicle beforehand to come forward.
