Petty Officer Owen Green joined the Royal Navy in January 2022 and swiftly built a reputation for excellence while serving as an Aircrewman with 845 Naval Air Squadron. He trained at HMS Raleigh, RNAS Yeovilton, RAF Shawbury, and RNAS Culdrose, rapidly earning his Aircrewman Wings in June 2025 and promotion to Leading Hand by September 2025. Green’s career included notable deployments such as Operation Clockwork 26 in the Arctic and multinational exercises, demonstrating exceptional skill and dedication.

“Losing Owen has left us all devastated.
His life was far too short, and our hearts will forever be broken,” said his family. “He was a caring and devoted son, brother, grandson, and partner to Iona, whom he loved and cherished. His kindness, warmth, and character touched everyone who knew him.
