Man Dies After Brutal Assault in Norwich Road Home

Police rushed to Norwich Road just before 5pm on Friday, 9 July, following a chilling call from ambulance crews. A man in his 30s had suffered serious injuries after a vicious assault inside a property.

Paramedics fought to save him at the scene, but he was tragically pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

40-Year-Old Man Arrested on Murder Suspicion

Officers sprang into action, detaining a 40-year-old suspect at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He was soon re-arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Investigation Underway – No Wider Threat to Public

Detectives say early inquiries suggest this was an isolated incident with no ongoing risk to the local community. A police scene remains in place as they piece together the events.
