Tragic Crash in Shawbirch: One Dead, One Injured
A deadly two-car crash near Woodford Green and the B5063 in Shawbirch has claimed one life and left another man hurt.
Emergency Teams Rush to Scene
The West Midlands Ambulance Service swung into action at 4.08pm on Tuesday. They sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford, and a Community First Responder to the scene.
One Man Dies, Other Walks Away with Minor Injuries
On arrival, crews found two male drivers involved in the collision.
“Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save one man and he was confirmed dead at the scene,” a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said.
The second man received treatment for minor injuries before being released.
