Sick Filly Found Wandering in Hampshire Village

A female Black Cob filly was discovered roaming the streets of Durley, Hampshire, on December 19th. Sadly, the poor horse was too ill to save and had to be euthanised on welfare grounds.

Investigation Launched into Neglect

Authorities believe the filly may have been dumped nearby and wandered into the village. Police and the RSPCA attended the scene, calling in a vet who confirmed the filly’s condition was beyond help.

An investigation is now underway to track down the horse’s owner and uncover the filly’s final movements. The case has sparked outrage over unnecessary animal suffering.

Call for Witnesses to Come Forward

The horse has been respectfully disposed of by officials. Anyone with information about the filly or her owner is urged to contact the RSPCA immediately.
