Early Morning Break-In Shocker in Kent Town Centre
Kent Police rushed to a High Street shop at 12.50am on Wednesday 16 November 2022 after reports of a break-in. When officers arrived, they found a door and window smashed and the premises ransacked.
Suspect Nabbed on the Spot
Officers from Canterbury’s Local Policing Team quickly secured the scene and searched the building. They arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of burglary. A haul of stolen prescription medication was also recovered.
Investigation Ongoing
The suspect was taken into police custody as enquiries continue. Police urge anyone with information to come forward.
