Masked Thugs Rob Teen Outside Pub in Broad Daylight
At around 5.30pm on Friday, July 15, three balaclava-clad men targeted a 15-year-old boy sitting outside The Lynd Cross pub and Wilkinson’s on West Street.
Victim Led Away and Robbed Near The Gym
The lads approached the teenager and his friend before forcing him around the corner near The Gym. There, they snatched his bag.
Knife-Wielding Suspect Caught After Public Chase
One attacker, a slim white male about 6’2”, was armed with a knife. Quick-thinking members of the public confronted him, sparking a brief pursuit that ended with his capture inside a nearby Waitrose store. Police swiftly arrested the suspect.
Two Other Suspects Still At Large
- Two slim black males, approximately 5’2” and 5’4”, remain on the run.
