Man Hospitalised After Brutal High Street Alley Attack

A man and two women were viciously attacked in a grim alley beside a High Street pub in the early hours of Sunday, 14 August 2022.

Group Assaults Victims in Early Morning Violence

Between 1.45am and 2.30am, the trio were approached by a group who launched an unprovoked assault. The man suffered serious facial injuries and was rushed to hospital, while the two women sustained minor wounds.

Suspects Identified – Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

  • Three white men, aged 20s to 30s
  • One slim-build man with dark hair, spotted wearing black sunglasses and a black t-shirt with yellow and red lettering
  • Two others in white t-shirts and grey shorts

PC Amber Davis, leading the investigation, said: “This was a violent attack that left a man in hospital and two women with minor injuries.”

She added, “Two individuals on a motorcycle are believed to have ridden down the alleyway after the assault. We want to speak to them.”
