The Metropolitan Police rushed to Cowper Avenue just after 2.20pm on Saturday, 5 April, following reports of a violent robbery. They found the victim with a stab wound. “We are investigating an aggravated robbery which took place in Cowper Avenue, East Ham. A 36-year-old man was treated at the scene for a stab wound and was later taken to hospital. His injuries have been deemed non-life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made at this stage. Enquiries are ongoing.”
