Man Dies in Horror Crash Near Westlinton Cliff Inn
A man tragically died after a serious crash on May 1st at around 4:50pm near the Cliff Inn in Westlinton on the A6071.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Police, Fire Search and Rescue, and Ambulance crews all attended the scene. Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the spot. Next of kin have been informed, but formal identification is still pending.
Road Closures and Investigation Underway
The A6071 between Longtown and Brampton, plus the road leading to Alstonby Hall, remain shut as emergency teams work. These closures are expected to last some time, so drivers are urged to plan alternative routes.
