Gravesend Woman Sprayed with Noxious Substance in Shocking Home Invasion
An investigation is underway after a woman was sprayed in the face with a mysterious liquid during a terrifying home invasion in Gravesend.
Three Masked Men Break In at Dawn
Kent Police were called to a disturbance at 4.43am on 7 August 2020 at a house on Peacock Street. The victim told officers she woke up to find three men inside her home. Two of the intruders sprayed her with an unknown substance before fleeing.
Suspects Flee with Ladder, Van in Sight
- The suspects ran off towards Saddington Street, one carrying a silver ladder.
- Police found the discarded ladder near a nearby church.
- A blue-grey Mercedes Vito van with privacy glass, believed to be the getaway vehicle, was spotted close by.
Police Hunt Hooded Teens
The suspects are described as wearing black trousers and black hooded tops, with faces covered. They are thought to be in their late teens to early 20s.
The victim remains in local hospital with minor injuries. Officers continue to investigate and urge locals to check any CCTV footage.
