Man Fatally Injured in Suspicious Incident at Fretson Green
Tragic Death Shakes Local Community
Emergency services rushed to Fretson Green at 12.34am on Saturday 17th April 2021 after reports of a seriously injured 32-year-old man. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Launch Early Murder Inquiry
The death is being treated as suspicious. Investigations are still in their infancy. The victim’s family has been informed and are receiving specialist support from officers.
Detective Pleads for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Oughton urged the community: “I know this incident will concern residents in the Manor area. We’re doing everything possible to find those responsible.
If you were in the Fretson Green area before or after 12.30am, did you see or hear anything unusual? Have you caught any suspicious people or vehicles on CCTV or dashcams? Even small details could be crucial.
We’ll have extra officers in the area over the next few days conducting house searches and enquiries. If you have concerns, please speak to them – they’re here to help.
