Knife Attack in Enfield: Man in 30s Stabbed in Broad Daylight
Stabbing Sparks Fast Police Action
Police launched a rapid response after a man in his 30s was seriously stabbed on Lawson Road, Enfield, at 4:37pm on Sunday, 9 March. Emergency crews rushed to the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries now confirmed as non-life-threatening.
A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in police custody as detectives dig deeper.
Investigation Ongoing
North Area Local Investigations officers are urging witnesses to step forward. Detective Inspector Mike Herrick said:
“This was a horrific attack in broad daylight, which we know has shocked the local community in Enfield. Officers were quickly on the scene and were able to immediately arrest a man who remains in custody.”
“Residents will have noticed an increased police presence while this investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with concerns should speak to officers in the area over the coming days.”
“I encourage anyone who has information but hasn’t yet contacted police to get in touch and assist with this investigation.”
