Armed Police Arrest Man Over Gun Scare in Chichester
Sussex Police swooped at 7.30am this Sunday after reports of a man carrying a firearm on Kingsham Avenue, Chichester.
Imitation Gun Seized, Man in Custody
Armed officers quickly arrested a 44-year-old male on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear. The weapon turned out to be an imitation firearm, which was recovered at the scene.
No Harm Done, Public Safety Confirmed
Sussex Police reassured the public, saying, “No one was harmed and there is no ongoing threat to the public.”
