Tragic Bank Holiday Death: Man in 20s Dies After Cardiac Arrest in Bexleyheath

Police rushed to Broadway, Bexleyheath, at 4:10am on Monday, 25 August after the London Ambulance Service reported a man in cardiac arrest. Despite frantic efforts, paramedics pronounced the man in his 20s dead at the scene.

Police Launch Probe Into Sudden Death

The Metropolitan Police have labelled the death as “unexpected” and launched a full investigation. Detectives say enquiries remain ongoing as they work to establish the cause.

Witnesses Urged to Come Forward

Officers are appealing for anyone with information to step up. A Met Police spokesperson said:

“If you have any information which could assist our investigation, please contact police by calling 101 or post on X @MetCC quoting CAD 1282/25Aug.”

The young man’s identity has not yet been confirmed. Authorities are informing his next of kin.
